What we learned after photographing 1,000+ portraits at our Headshot Booth for DIA 2026 Global Annual Meeting at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, one thing became clear almost immediately: attendees were looking for more than giveaways. They wanted something they could actually use.
Over the course of three days, Philly Snap Booth photographed more than 1,000 professional headshots, with a line forming for most of the event. The demand wasn’t surprising. At conferences like DIA, professionals are there to learn, network, meet industry leaders, and invest in their careers. A professional headshot supports every one of those goals.
Unlike promotional items that often end up forgotten, a professional headshot has long-term value.
Attendees leave with a polished image they can immediately use for:
It’s an activation that continues providing value long after the event ends.

Our activation began with a fun branded photo booth on day one, where attendees enjoyed taking photos with custom DIA 2026 props and received both printed and digital keepsakes.

Guests were excited to refresh outdated profile photos, many returning with colleagues after seeing the quality of the images. Throughout the event, there was a consistent line of professionals waiting for their turn.
When an activation solves a real need, people naturally make time for it.
One of the biggest challenges in event planning is selecting activations that deliver measurable value.
A headshot booth checks several important boxes:
For exhibitors and sponsors, it also creates meaningful conversations. While guests wait for their photos or review their images, they’re naturally spending more time within the sponsor’s space, creating additional opportunities for engagement.

If you’re planning a convention, trade show, or conference, consider what attendees will remember after they leave.
The activations that generate the greatest impact aren’t always the loudest. They’re the ones that provide genuine value.
Our advice after DIA 2026?
If your event has the space and budget, invest in a professional headshot experience. Your attendees will thank you, and based on our experience, you may even want more than one station. 😉
Sincerely,
Laura & Marina from Philly Snap Booth
