Founded in the year 2000 by breast oncologist Marisa C. Weiss, Breastcancer.org helps to provide support for those battling breast cancer. The nonprofit organization does this by aiding men, women, and their loved ones in gathering information and support in the complex navigation of being diagnosed with such a disease. To get a look at the direct positive impact this organization has on people’s lives, many guests attend Breastcancer.org’s annual Rock the Ribbon Gala. Philly Snap Booth has had the pleasure of attending both the 2018 and 2019 Rock the Ribbon Annual Gala.
This year’s Gala was hosted at the one and only, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA). Known for its legendary collections of American art, PAFA was an excellent location to show off Breastcancer.org’s pink ribbon circle logo. The logo represents the trust in the support and information provided to all those who seek out the organization’s benefits. To complement the logo, you can bet color could be found everywhere throughout the Gala!
For starters, we brought out our color booth and born to shine backdrop. With a sleek and simple booth design paired with a colorful backdrop, the two complimented each other perfectly!
Additionally, PSB worked with Canada based company, Propmaster, to create one of a kind props specific for Rock the Ribbon. The propmaster Amber created beautiful, sparkly, and unique props related to all things Philly and Rock the Ribbon.
But of course, we here at Philly Snap Booth had to make sure to bring out all the pink props we could find! Guests could be found rocking pink boxing gloves, fans, hats, glasses, a stylish wig, and more!
The photo booth fun could not have been possible without the help of our sponsor, Penn Medicine. The 2019 Rock the Ribbon Annual Gala was a success and we are so delighted to have been apart of such an important event!
