We’ve all been there, you’ve got an idea, the product & service and you are ready to shine. But! You know you need to get more exposure – having a website and your social media channels is fundamental but that doesn’t mean you are going to get more inquiries or calls. you’ve gotta keep playing! Here I have 5 tips on how to get more exposure for your business from my experience.
If your services are related to cooking, décor, yoga, social events, etc. – host a party or event, inviting your dreamy potential clients, or friends. Advertise your event in all your social media and design invitations exclusively for that event.
In my case, I own a photobooth company: Philly Snap Booth. I hosted a Halloween party at my house! I invited all my au pairs (I also worked with Cultural Care – a travel agency) which gave me a lot of international exposure and a variety of models!
I took a lot of photos of the new backdrops, but since I was so busy making sure everyone was okay (as a good host should) I didn’t take a photo of the set up or display (that was a big mistake), but I had a lot of fun with my girl friends.
I had another opportunity to expose my business, this time with my dreamy potential clients in a dreamy place One North Broad (The Masonic Temple). Philadelphia Magazine was planning a bridal show called brides, brunch & bubbles where the best vendors from Philadelphia were there exposing their products in a beautiful and intimate way.
The set-up, location, decor, people interacting with your product or service, and being fast on social media is important!
At the event: “Multitask” is your last name!
A few days before the exhibition I met Kristin & Katie – two amazing mom bosses; Kristin has her own company of graphic design and is located in Philadelphia (Manayunk) on Main St. with her shop “Pineapple On Main.” Her business is called Mountain Paper I went to her studio and her style and mine just matched perfectly.
Kristin designed my brochures to fit my brand. I loved them! Also, she was able to provide me the booth made of wood you see above in this article (where I’m throwing the photos in the air hahaha) She built it by hand and used it for her own exhibitions. So, if you are interested in renting / buying that stunning booth or her graphic design services just give her a shout at this e-mail: thestudio@mountainpaper.com
